Can I claim this under a care plan?
Often, yes. Many people with diabetes are eligible for podiatry under a Medicare Chronic Disease Management (EPC) plan arranged by their GP, and we bulk bill eligible care-plan patients. Bring your referral, or call us to check how it works.
I have no foot pain - do I still need a check?
Yes, and that's the point. Diabetes can reduce sensation, so a serious problem may not hurt. A check finds issues you can't feel, which is when they're easiest to manage.
